There are 4 different types of shooting mode:

1. •chronophotographic mode
   

2. •background + chronophotographic mode
   

3. •rapid fire mode
   

4. •comparing level mode
   

Chronophotographic mode [CHRONO Button]

1. This mode is well suited to shooting objects moving through the camera view. For example, when a person runs through the screen.

Background + Chronophotographic mode [BG.+CHRONO Button]

1. This mode is well suited to shooting objects that stay in the same position on the screen. In this mode, ChronoCam shoots a background without any subject. After shooting the background, a prompt to start the chronophotographic shoot appears.
   

2. After the subject moves into the camera view, push “start” to shoot the chronographicphoto.

1. Unlike the other two, in this mode, ChronoCam generates multiple photos. The maximum number of rapid fire shots is 20 per second.
   

1. In this mode, you can compare each detecting sensitivity of the photographic subject.
   

2. When you choose this mode, ChronoCam shoots 10 photos at intervals of 2 photos per second.
   

3. Only the center of the shot images are combined at levels from 1 to 5, and saved in Camera Roll.
   

4. Use this mode as a guide for choosing the best detecting sensitivity when you shoot.

In chronophotographic mode or BG.+ chronophotographic mode , with one  push ChronoCam generates a composite photograph by isolating and extracting multiple shots of the moving object in the camera roll.

In rapid fire mode, multiple photos are saved in the camera roll.

11. -　Level1　This level recognizes the shooting object with subtle changes of color. However the noise of the object increases.
    

12. -　Level5　This level recognizes the shooting object with large change of color. If the object is similar to the background it is difficult for ChronoCam to recognize the object.
    

Chronophotographic Tips

1. •When you shoot a photo with ChronoCam, it is essential to fix your device. We recommend using a tripod stand, or set your device on a table or other flat surface. It is not recommended to use ChronoCam while holding the device since the photo quality will be poor.
   

2. •When you use ChronoCam, shoot a photo of a simple and still background. When you shoot a photo of a water surface or windblown grass and trees background, ChronoCam cannot process the combined photos very well.
   

3. •When shooting an object that is similar to the background, ChronoCam cannot extract the object very well.
   

4. •We recommend shooting only one object. When shooting multiple objects, shoot them at an angle so that they do not overlap. When multiple moving subjects overlap, ChronoCam cannot process the combined photos very well.
   

5. •In chronophotographic mode, when the moving object passes through the view, push the record button to stop shooting.
   

6. •In chronophotographic mode or BG.+ chronophotographic mode, we recommend using self-timer for avoiding camera shake.
   

7. •Before using ChronoCam, please close other applications.
   

Notes

1. - With the iPhone 3GS, if you choose shooting speed of 20 per second, the actual shooting speed will be about 17 per second.
